What is Handshake?

Handshake is the Career Center's new one-stop-shop career services network. With personalized job recommendations, event registration, appointment scheduling and more than 250,000+ employers ready to recruit top college talent, it's a great place to get a handle on your career.

Who may have an account?

Currently enrolled students and UT Dallas alumni are eligible to have a Handshake account. External and internal employers are also able to create Handshake accounts.

Current Students

All students who are enrolled at UT Dallas already have an account. You will log in using your NetID and password. Once logged in be sure to complete your profile and add your resume so you can begin applying for jobs and internships.

If you have never had a Handshake account and would like to request one, please select "create an account" from the log in screen or click here. Be sure to include all requested information, including your NetID or UTD-ID so our staff can confirm your status and approve your account. Please allow 2-3 business days for this process. If you do not know your NetID or UTD-ID please contact the Registrar's Office to obtain it.

Handshake makes it easier than ever to post jobs, set up on-campus interviews, and more. With one account you can not only post at UT Dallas, but any other school on the Handshake network all at once. To get started you will need to create an account here, create your company profile or connect to an existing one, and then request permission to post at the schools you want to recruit at. Details on how to do all of this can be found here.
