Subject: AED Updates
Hello AED members!
As you plan for your last week of classes before Thanksgiving break, please keep the following updates in mind:
We will have our General Meeting #5 on Thursday, November 21st at 7pm. This meeting is our annual Homeless not Hopeless event! This event counts as a meeting credit, but is also a great opportunity to earn your remaining service hours, social credit, and fundraising credit. You will only receive a social credit if you make a blanket. A fundraiser credit will only be given if you provide a receipt of the following items donated (minimum purchase of $5).
You can only get a max of 2 hours for each item (only exception is deodorant), and can receive up to 5 service hours by donating the following items:

For those of you who have not picked up your shirts they will be available for pick up at this meeting!
To remain in good standing for the semester, you must receive a social and a fundraising credit, complete 20 service hours, and attend 3 out of 5 general body meetings. The last day to submit outside hours is Friday, December 6th at 11:59pm.
You don't want to miss out on our Personal Statement Workshop (TOMORROW) Tuesday, November 19th from 7:30-9 pm in SLC 2.303 with guest speaker Dr. Wendy Harpham. Dr. Harpham is an adjunct professor in the Honors College and an award winning author who wants to help you write the best essay for your application. Dr. Harpham is a lymphoma survivor, and founded Wendy's Eagles to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. A minimum of $3 is required for entry, and ALL proceeds will be donated to Wendy's Eagles and the LRF. The fee includes ice cream, social AND fundraising credit for AED members. AED will be hosting our Suture Clinic on Wednesday, November 20th at 6:30 pm. The location is TBD. This will be a great experience and will count as a social credit as well. Priority is given to juniors and seniors as spots are limited. Please sign up through this link.
