Evaporation

A growing concern at the Heard Museum is how to maintain the wetlands in the face of downcutting (lowering of the bed) of Wilson Creek. We will estimate the evaporative losses from the wetlands using several techniques. Comparing these losses to the frequency of refilling events Fig. 3.1 can help us quantify the potential problem.
