Research Assistant (RA) positions available for self-motivated PhD students. I am passionate about designing and implementing timing-predictable, efficient, and safe autonomous embedded systems, with autonomous driving as the currently focused application domain. Recent research focus of our research group is on attacking/detecting/mitigating vulnerabilities in DNN-driven autonomous driving systems and performing system-level optimization in such systems.
I am interested in working with self-motivated students who strive for success through research. In the past, students in our group interned at top research labs (e.g., IBM T.J. Watson and Fujitsu US Research), and had excellent academic and industry job placements. I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Prof. Jim Anderson in 2013.
