ECSS 2.203

Instructor: Emily Fox <emily.fox@utdallas.edu>

Final Exam, Review Session, and Thanks

The Final Exam will be held in our normal classroom ECSS 2.203 from 2:00pm–4:45pm on Thursday, May 11th.

The exam will be closed notes and closed book. It will cover everything discussed throughout the semester with a slightly disproportionate amount of space devoted to flows, cuts, and NP-hardness.

If you would like to see the kinds of problems that typically appear in Emily's 6363 (and 4349) exams, feel free to visit her collection of past semester's websites. Nearly every exam or homework assignment given in one of her classes should be available.

Today, Thursday, May 4th, Emily will hold an in-class review session. It will also be recorded as usual. The session will be student-led, so please come prepared with any questions you have about class material, homework problems, problems from the texts, problems from past exams, etc. Please no questions about Homework 5, though, since it's not due yet.

If you have not done so yet, please take a few minutes to fill out a course evaluation. Emily uses these to improve future instances of this and other courses, and your honest feedback provides useful information to help administration determine teaching assignments, promotions, etc.

Finally, thank you all for a great semester. I (Emily) have had a wonderful time showing you some of the things I'm passionate about and answering your questions. Please feel free to keep in touch.
