INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ARCADE SOFTWARE

The development of the ARCADE software was funded in part by the National Science Foundation Information Technology Research Initiative through the Research and Learning on Education Program Award 0113369.

Please email the titles of any publications resulting from the use of this technology to Dr. Richard Golden (golden@utdallas.edu) to support future development of this prototype software! Thank you!

The MCRINSTALLER software is the core mathematical algorithm library which needs to be installed first. Once the MCRINSTALLER is installed, you can install the KDC, AUTOCODER, and/or ASMURF software. Typical software upgrades will not require a reinstallation of the MCRINSTALLER, you simply have to re-install KDC, AUTOCODER, and/or ASMURF.

Most users will download ASMURF for the purposes of coding free response data and download KDC for the purpose of analyzing free response data as a categorical time-series.

In order to access the software directory you must have a password. Please fill out this Software Registration Form and a password to the ARCADE software directory will be automatically emailed to you within a few days. Once you have your login name and password, you can access the ARCADE software directory by clicking here.
