I obtained my PhD in Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC in 1987.
8/01-present: Professor and Associate Professor (01-03), University of Texas at Dallas. Currently working on device fabrication and material growth, carbon nanotubes growing by chemical vapor deposition and its device applications such as energy storage devices, touch screen, transparent heater and sensors.
8/87-7/01: Assistant Professor (87-92) and Associate Professor, Louisiana State University. Worked on compound semiconductor device fabrication and material growth, electro optics, and dielectric film deposition by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition.
7/95-8/96: Consultant for Optek Technology Inc. to develop InSb magnetoresistor to use in automobile.
6/91-11/91: Visiting Scientist, Naval Research Laboratory,
