Applications
Before formally applying, please email your resume and unofficial undergraduate/graduate transcripts to emse@utdallas.edu The admissions commttee can then pre-approve  you.

If you are eligible to apply, you will then need to complete and submit your materials to ensure full and timely consideration of your application. No decision will be made until all required materials have been received. Students are advised in writing/electronically of their admission status within 10 business days of receiving a complete application. A complete application must be submitted to the program office through the program website. Before completing any forms, you should read the UTD policy statements related to submitting information to UT Dallas.
 
Requirements
  • A four-year bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
  • Three years or more of full-time employment as a software professional.
  • Knowledge of a programming language (C, C++ or Java) and data structures and algorithms.
  • A complete application form.
  • Copies of transcripts and degree certificates from all the colleges attended. Once admitted, official copies of transcripts and degree certificates are required.
  • A detailed resume, including work history.
  • Three letters of recommendations on forms supplied by the program.
  • A signed tuition payment form.
  • International students must complete the TOEFL unless exempt.  For details: TOEFL Requirements
  • Students must comply with the general UT Dallas admission guidelines including immunizations required by UT Dallas Health Center.
