Robert Serfling retired from the University of Texas at Dallas
effective September 1, 2017
but remains informally affiliated with UTD and its
Mathematical Sciences Department.
Besides working on selected research projects without pressure of time or other constraints,
he is also enjoying serious effort on selected art projects, playing duplicate
bridge, learning Spanish on Duolingo, training a Louisiana Catahoula dog, and
doing Tai Chi at a respectable level.
