We in the Slinker Group are involved in a number of teaching and outreach opportunities.
The Society of Physics Students at UT Dallas
Professor Slinker is the faculty mentor for the UTD Chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS). In recent years, this group has won two
national awards and received Notable Chapter distinction from SPS National. Our local chapter hosts guest lectures on physics careers, organizes social events,
participates in outreach, executes research projects, and maintains a group Facebook page.
