Dr. Sam Supakkul received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas, with Dr. Lawrence Chung as his advisor. He is currently a Principal Architect in the Travel Network Architecture group at Sabre Inc. Prior to this, he has worked in the industry for 20 years in a number of industries, including telecommunication, airlines, and smart homes. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the ACM.
