Embroidery Project

A team of mechanical engineering students, working with embroidery, find it quite difficult to perform embroidery operations. The fabrics, the threads, the layout, the assembly of the fabric onto the machine, and other factors must be examined and mastered. After some trials, the team completed their project and made a beautiful design.

AutoCAD is used by mechanical engineers for design and drafting operations. This software is used by the team to generate graphics that can be transferred to the embroidery machine.

This project is complete and more projects will be added on the application of embroidery to wearable technology.

The team was proud to design and create this green patch for our UTD all-university commencement keynote speaker in 2022.
