Music Project

While working in the project workshop, Mr. Yair Or is challenged by a project for his UTD music class (MUSI 1306). Students taking MUSI 1306 are given the option to provide a comparative essay between two pieces of music, compose a song, or engineer & fabricate an instrument. With no hesitation, Mr. Yair jumped into laser-cutting wood pieces, assemble his Kalimba, and apply wood sealant in the UTD paint booth. He is set-out to engineer & fabricate an instrument.

MADE IN UTD

It looks good but does it work? With some years playing classical guitar, Yair has no problem teaching himself how to play a Kalimba.

There is no report for this project but please enjoy the video.
