Download and Installation

1. Download StarUML v.1 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/staruml/.

2. Run the downloaded StarUML Setup Wizard (e.g., staruml-5.0-with-cm.exe) then follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Download RE-Tools from http://sourceforge.net/projects/re-tools/.

4. Run the downloaded RE-Tools Setup Wizard (e.g., RE-Tools3.0.msi) then follow the on-screen instructions.

5. Rename or remove "Contributors.xml" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarUML" folder.

This file contains the names of the StarUML's contributors that are used as the default names for newly created model elements. However, without renaming or removing this file, these names could cause naming conflicts when RE-Tools is used.

IMPORTANT

The RE-Tools package relies on StarUML version 1. Please note that the latest StarUML 2 on staruml.io site is not architecturally backward compatible with StarUML v.1 that is the underlying platform for RE-Tools. You must install StarUML v.1 using the link below.
